Sunrise Riverfront Maternity Session at Home | Melbourne FL Maternity PhotographerWhen you live on the Indian River and have gorgeous sunrises, maternity photos on your dock is a beautiful option for your session! Plus, since we're at your home, we can grab some cute nursery photos and even include pets too. Sunrise sessions can start with silhouettes, which are especially great for maternity sessions and highlighting the beauty of the shape of your pregnant belly.
When photographing on a dock or walkway, there are a variety of ways to use framing and leading lines to draw the viewers' eyes to the subject(s). We ended up with a decent amount of clouds on this morning too, which gave us softer light to use for part of the session while on the dock.
Had to include "big brother" in one of the photos too!

This session was an add on to a baby milestone membership plan. My milestone members are VIPs and get first dibs on session dates and other fun extras (like lifetime discounts!). I love getting to watch and document these little ones grow. Keeping this in mind, I made sure to get some photos in the nursery before the little man arrived with the plan of getting more at his newborn session. It's fun to have similar photos throughout that first year to have in an album and be able to look back and see how much they grow and change in that short amount of time.
