Casual In Home Newborn Photos | Viera FL Newborn PhotographerIn home newborn sessions can be as simple and casual as you'd like. I have a variety of fabrics and wraps to use for simple and classic photos of just baby. I can even include special items for you if you'd like! These are typically done in an area of the house that has the best light and sometimes the nursery. After the individual photos of baby are done, we focus on capturing baby with Mom, with Dad, with other siblings, with both Mom and Dad, and with the whole family. Shots with the whole family can be done on Mom & Dad's bed or on the couch. To prep your home for your newborn session, you really just want to straighten up and declutter the rooms where you want the photos taken. If we're using your bedroom, make sure anything on side tables and dressers are things you don't mind being in your photographs. If you don't have a neutral bed spread, I have a couple of neutral king-sized quilts we can throw on your bed for the photos. If we're using the couch, check for anything on side tables or coffee table that you wouldn't want in your photos. If we're going to use the nursery for most of the photos, be sure to put away anything extra that might be hanging out waiting to get used that doesn't need to be there, especially bags/boxes of diapers and wipes, as well as anything else you wouldn't want to be in your photos. And you don't need to worry if you feel like your house may not get enough light, I can add a little extra light while still keeping the photos looking like natural light. As you look through the images from this session, can you tell which images have extra light added via a flash and which ones are only window light? The answer may surprise you!
