Extended Family Session | High School Senior Twins - Melbourne FL
Graduation weekend is a time of celebration, reflection, and family togetherness. It’s when achievements are recognized, future paths are excitedly anticipated, and memories are made that will last a lifetime. I had the privilege of capturing such a memorable extended family photoshoot, in honor of two high school senior twin boys at the Florida Tech Botanical Gardens in Melbourne, Florida. Their family was in town for the occasion, making it the perfect time to gather together and create timeless portraits before the next chapter of their lives begins.
The Florida Tech Botanical Gardens offers a picturesque backdrop for those not wanting the beach for their location. With its lush greenery, the gardens are an ideal location for outdoor photography sessions. The natural beauty of the space provided a vibrant yet peaceful environment for this special family shoot. We took advantage of the gorgeous golden light that filtered through the trees, creating a soft, glowing ambiance. The light in the gardens was absolutely perfect for portraits.
Although these young men are twins, they each have their own distinct personalities, which was immediately evident during the session. I focused on capturing their unique qualities and the essence of who they are at this exciting moment in their lives, both by themselves, together and with their family. With their extended family in town to celebrate the boys’ graduation, it was the perfect time to capture group portraits and the interactions that make family so special. Graduation is a major milestone, but it’s also a time of transition. For these twins, it marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new adventure. Capturing their personalities, their bond as brothers, and the love of their family in such a beautiful setting was truly an honor.
