Couple at Sunset on the Beach with Dogs | Amelia Island Family PhotographerHelping a client tell and preserve their story through photographs is one of my favorite parts of my job. After our first phone call, I was so excited for the opportunity to capture this couple and help them preserve their story. You see, they are in the process of adoption and needed some updated photos for their adoption portfolio. These photos are their first impression for moms-to-be who are looking to give their baby up for adoption so they need to capture who they are and not just their adorable smiles (which of course we captured too!). They love hanging at the beach so of course they needed a beach session. They also have two rescue pups who needed to join in too! We grabbed some standard shots that were required for the adoption portfolio (smiling at the camera), and then had little fun and captured some more casual photos walking and hanging out on the beach. They brought a little "Love" sign that we played with too to add to the adoption portfolio and I love the "Love Makes a Family"; so perfect for an adoption story! The sunset was beautiful and I love playing with silhouettes when we have a great sunset. Be sure to scroll to the end for the silhouette!
