We had our first Pictures with Santa event this year and it was so much fun! I knew I wanted to do them outside, keep them simple, and focus on the kids and Santa. I chose the Tabby Ruins in St Marys to be the location. I originally had a friend's dad lined up to be my Santa, but due to an illness, I had to reschedule and find a new Santa. A former co-worker of mine (a teacher), volunteered and saved the day. And he was AWESOME! (Thanks Bob!!!)

Santa arrived shortly after most of the families arrived, greeted the children, and then read them a story. While waiting for their turn with Santa, they were able to run and play and eat the yummy cookies I made. Everyone had a chance to warm up to Santa if needed, though there were still a couple who were just not Santa fans. Fun was had by all and we will definitely be doing it again next year!
