CREATIVE HIVE: A MASTERMIND RETREAT FOR CREATIVES

February 5-9, 2027, Cocoa Beach, FL

Creative Hive Mastermind Retreat is a small, invitation-only mastermind retreat created with intention. For years, Willy Wilson and Kim Tank talked about how much we wanted a space that wasn’t just inspirational, but actually gave us time to map out our plans, set goals, and brainstorm big ideas with women who understand the unique challenges (and solutions) that come with running a creative business.

You’ll stay with us in a private home in Cocoa Beach that’s just a short walk to the beach (under 5 minutes) as well as walkable to restaurants and shopping. We’ll arrive on February 5^th and check out on February 9^th, giving us three whole days together.

At Creative Hive, we’ll spend those three days together in a micro-community of women creatives, supporting each other as we finish our yearly goals and marketing calendars, share ideas, and give each other meaningful feedback. There will also be room for rest, a little creativity, and plenty of connection. You’ll head home on February 9 with a clear plan for the year ahead — and a group of women to both cheer you on and hold you accountable all year long.

What to Expect at The Creative Hive Mastermind Retreat

Our retreat days will be a mix of:

• Mastermind Sessions – each participant will have dedicated time to share ideas, challenges, and get valuable feedback.

• Group Discussions – conversations on goals, planning, and how to move forward in business and life.

• Independent Work Time – space to work on your yearly goals, marketing calendars, or projects.

• Creative Activities – something small and fun each day to spark inspiration and connection.

• Content Creation – shoot some cell phone video to use in your socials and get some updated headshots and branding photos you can use in your business

• Exploration – we’ll have time to explore the area and plan a group activity together 

Meals & Lodging

We’ll be staying together in a beautiful private home in Cocoa Beach. Every participant will have their own bed in either a private bedroom (2) or shared bedroom, a communal kitchen, and plenty of space to relax.

• Breakfast and snacks will be provided on the three retreat days. 

• Welcome Dinner will be provided on arrival day (February 5^th)

• Dinner and lunches will be on your own (self-paid), but we’ll plan to go out together or coordinate casual group meals, including at least one community meal night where we cook and eat together at the house.

• Rooms will be assigned in order of registration, but rest assured the whole house is beautiful — there’s no “bad” room. You may request who to share a room with if you know someone else who is coming.

Cost = $1250 (includes the retreat, led by Kim Tank & Willy Wilson, lodging and meals per above)

When the retreat ends, the support doesn’t have to. Join our Creative Hive Mastermind group and continue meeting monthly on Zoom (second Mondays), plus short weekly accountability check-ins (also on Zoom). We’ll start with a goal-setting meeting in January and an initial get-to-know-you and goal sharing meeting on the 1^st Monday in February (since the retreat covers the usual meeting day and we want to include anyone joining the mastermind that can’t make the retreat). This mastermind is all about problem-solving, sharing resources, and helping each other follow through on personal, professional, and creative goals.

Meet your Mastermind Retreat/Group Leaders

Creative Hive Mastermind was created by two award-winning photographers, longtime friends, and accountability partners: Kim Tank of Kimberly Tank Art & Photography in Rockledge, FL, and Willy Wilson of Life Unstill Photography in Denver, CO. 

Kim has spent 13 years building her photography business specializing in underwater and lifestyle portrait photography. Beyond her client work, she teaches group camera classes for adults, leads photography, editing, and art courses for middle and high schoolers, and offers private one-on-one mentoring for photographers.

Willy is a former NAPCP Photographer of the Year (2022) and a 2026 NAPCP Mentor, known for her bold, award-winning underwater and lifestyle portraiture. She's spent years teaching photography and art classes to adults and mentoring other photographers through their creative and business growth, and she created a creativity planner designed to help creatives of all kinds set and follow through on their goals.

Together, Kim and Willy have spent over a decade cheering each other on, brainstorming through business challenges, and holding each other accountable to their goals — which is exactly what led them to create Creative Hive Mastermind. Now, they're bringing that same energy to their first-ever retreat: a few days of goal-setting, brainstorming, content creation, and rest, alongside a group of fellow creative business owners ready to do the same.
